Mission Trips

Interested in going on a work/ministry trip to Cuba?

CCPT can make it happen for you and all your family

Each year the Canadian Cuban Projects Team arranges one or two work / ministry teams to go to Cuba to assist in our work of building or renovating churches in need. These church projects are selected and approved by the BIC Cuba Leadership board and then selected and approved by the CCPT board for funding to purchase needed materials and services of Cuban workers.

Anyone can go on a work / ministry team, think of the talents you have and how they can be used to help where it is desperately needed.

Yes we need workers in cement and construction trades but there are many other jobs on each project. At times wives and even the whole family has come on the trip and all who came gave as much as they could towards that project.

Ladies helped with meals for the work crews, had bible study meetings with church ladies and shared their talents and crafts with the church and community. Youth have also participated in events and group activities with Cuban youth. There is nothing like a Cuban – Canadian baseball game to get the competition fired up.

Youth are also able to fulfill many of the daily jobs at the work site.

The cross cultural, social interaction of young people is fantastic for the Cuban youth to be a part of also.

Going on a work/ministry team trip is a life changing experience you will get to visit a communist country which is under strict government rule and which has very little resources to share with the Cuban people. Most items that you take for granted food, clothing, and personal hygiene are not available in stores for Cubans when it is there or on the black market the prices are much more than can be afforded.

When a team goes to Cuba we each take an extra piece of luggage filled with these type of items so we can share with the people we meet and work with.

The general cost to go on a work/ministry trip is $1500.00 per person this amount covers your air fare, your hotel room and meals, your transportation to work site and events, and your religious workers Cuban Visa. If there is any overage from the trip expenses CCPT gives those funds to the project site that we are working at.

In 2023 CCPT will be planing a trip on Nov 16-23. Will you join us?
